Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury

This role involves managing attorney-represented bodily injury (BI) claims, assessing liability, coverage, and damages, and working independently with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring reporting to an office about four days per month, with additional support and coaching from a team.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and reserves
• Estimate treatment or compensation costs
• Analyze medical reports and manage the claims process
• Interview and document information from claimants, agents, attorneys, and police

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant experience with one year in claims handling, or
• Associate's degree with three years relevant experience, or
• Bachelor's degree with one year in claims handling

Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Skills

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience

Location

Open to offices in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, Asheville, and Greensboro, NC.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $61,400-$79,400/year
• Gainshare incentive up to 16%
