Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking an experienced claims professional in Wichita to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims of moderate difficulty. This role focuses on promptly and equitably settling claims within assigned lines of business under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, have 1-3 years in claims, and can work independently while managing technical subjects. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years experience in Claims or similar organization.
• Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical subjects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information, determine a course of action and implement the selected course of action.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
• Effective interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with external sources and all levels of employees.
