CVS Health in Michigan (East Lansing) is seeking a full-time claims processor to review and adjudicate flexible spending claims. You will handle inquiries from members by phone and email, process claims on electronic images, and determine eligibility per IRS guidelines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and excellent communication across channels. Expected weekly hours are 40, with a base pay range of $17.00–$31.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of data entry or claims processing experience.
• 1+ year of Microsoft Office Suite Experience.
• Must have experience working multiple screens and applications.
• Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Review and adjudicate routine Flexible Spending claims per guidelines and IRS rules.
• Interact with members by phone and email for inquiries in a professional manner.
• Process claims on electronic images for about 8 hours daily.
• Determine eligibility for reimbursement according to IRS guidelines.
• Assist the Customer Service team as needed.

Position Summary

Reviews and adjudicates routine Flexible Spending claims in accordance with claim processing guidelines and IRS guidelines. Direct interaction with our members to assist with inquiries. You will work in front of a computer for approximately 8 hours processing flexible spending claims via electronic image. Determine if submissions are eligible for reimbursement per IRS guidelines. Interact with members and providers by phone and email for all inquiries in a professional manner Takes immediate action when confronted with a problem or made aware of a situation. Maintain quality and productivity standards. Assist our Customer Service team.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of data entry or claims processing experience
• 1+ year of Microsoft Office Suite Experience.
• Must have experience working multiple screens and applications.
• Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of Flexible Spending experience.

Pay Range

Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $31.30 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
