Job summary

Centerline is seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor to lead Masonry and foundations work in the SE region. You will oversee Journeyman, Apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time execution.

The role requires reading drawings, coordinating with project management, and maintaining strong client relationships on-site. Travel up to 5 days/week is expected, with readiness for physically demanding conditions and variable weather.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in construction supervision.
• Ability to communicate fluently with team members, management, and cross departments as needed.
• Completion of work in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
• Ability to climb and work at elevated heights (rooftops and ladders).
• Willingness to travel in SE region of USA up to 5 days a week.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and varying weather.
• Safety must remain the top priority in the field.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret general job-related documents.
• Construction, audit and engineering mindset for problem solving.
• Ability to learn from various instruction methods and self-study.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of Project Manager, assist and supervise crew on masonry tasks and foundations.
• Oversee building forms, pouring concrete pads, and equipment foundations.
• Direct conduit placement and ensure neat, safe installations.
• Oversee grounding/electrical cad-welds and coordination with trades.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Directly oversees Journeyman, Apprentices, and sub-contractors with planning and problem resolution.
• Maintain onsite relationships with customer and communicate needs daily to project management.
• Ensure safety inspections and best practices are applied on site.

Job description

What You Will Do

• Under direct supervision of Project Manager
• Perform masonry tasks including building forms and pouring concrete pads for equipment placement, structural shelter foundations, tower foundations
• Clean and neat conduit placement
• Grounding/electrical experience to include cad-welds
• Experience with core drills for shelter entry and drilling/setting concrete anchors
• Civil construction, such as but not limited to; earth moving, Equipment operation, retaining earth/water, concrete/asphalt, fencing, demolition, carpentry, roofing, and painting,
• Able to read construction drawings is a must
• Able to work independently making sound decisions on behalf of the company.
• Oversee, assist, and provide technical training and review for all work as assigned, including oversee and continually refine, perform safety inspections, stay current on State and local codes and changes, stay current on best practices and products available. Possesses the knowledge and technical skill to perform all tasks assigned related to the above
• Directly oversees Construction Journeyman, Construction Apprentice, & sub-contractors. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; team building and motivating.
• Maintains onsite relationship with customer
• Communicates needs, problems and questions to project management on a daily basis
• Willing and able to work on site while managing crew as a whole.
