Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Civil Superintendent to oversee daily onsite field operations on large-scale civil construction projects. You will manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, safety, quality, and schedules while ensuring work aligns with project specifications.

This role requires experience in site development, earthwork, grading, utility, concrete, and paving, and serves as the primary field leader for construction activities. Fully onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on civil construction projects.
• Experience on federal construction projects.
• Experience managing multiple field crews and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of GPS grading systems and earthwork operations.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily field operations from project start through completion.
• Direct labor crews, operators, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safe, productive work.
• Coordinate construction sequencing and activities to maintain schedules.
• Monitor workforce productivity and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors.
• Review work plans, schedules, and manpower needs.
• Identify and resolve field issues impacting progress.
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports.

This individual will be responsible for managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, safety, quality, and project schedules while ensuring work is completed efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience leading site development, earthwork, grading, utility, concrete, and paving operations and will serve as the primary field leader for construction activities. This is a fully onsite role 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily field operations from project start through completion
• Direct labor crews, operators, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work execution
• Coordinate construction sequencing and work activities to maintain project schedules
• Monitor workforce productivity and equipment utilization
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce OSHA, and company safety requirements
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors
• Review work plans, schedules, and manpower requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact project progress
• Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates

Skills and Requirements
