Job summary

Hargrove-Engineers- seeks a Structural Engineering Resource Leader in Beaumont to supervise a team of engineers and drive civil/structural deliverables on time and within budget. The role requires extensive civil/structural experience, project controls, and strong leadership to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include design calculations, specifications, cost estimates, and coordination with drafting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Structural coursework is required for structural positions.
• Registration: PE registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve civil/structural deliverables.
• Validate professional services and construction estimates at project onset and track changes.
• Perform stress analyses, prepare construction specs and material procurement specs.
• Produce professional service estimates per department standards and develop new work proposals.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient solutions.
• Establish design criteria and ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Ensure permitting requirements are communicated to the team.
• Plan and organize team work and communicate plans to leadership and clients.
• Monitor budget, schedule, and quality, and manage scope changes.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with other disciplines for deliverables.
• Prepare detailed design calculations and installation drawings for construction.
• Develop bid packages for procurement and subcontract pricing.
• Support training and professional development for staff.
