Job summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, Evansville, IN, is seeking a Civil / Structural Designer to join our office. You will use CAD software to provide drafting support to engineers, preparing layouts, detail drawings, sketches, and diagrams for heavy civil and underground projects.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of civil/structural design experience, proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks, and demonstrates solid problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in CAD/engineering is preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of relevant civil/structural design or drafting experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit and/or Advanced Steel software.
• Navisworks proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams in conjunction with engineers.
• Use CAD software to develop designs and maintain models/drawings.
• Create and revise models/drawings and track changes to ensure accuracy.
• Design detailed models of structures, machines, and products and ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate with tooling, QA, engineering, and manufacturing regarding new and revised prints.
