Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years drafting experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret field redlines and project inputs.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Translate engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into accurate CAD drawings.
• Review and incorporate site markups, photos, and as-built information into final drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable drafting standards and industry practices.
• Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, field teams, EPCs, vendors, and drafting service providers.
• Maintain drawing control, revision history, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Interpret incomplete or evolving information and resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Support accurate Process Safety Information (PSI) and overall project execution.

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Drafter to support Engineering and Operations by developing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawings for pipeline and facility assets.
• The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD experience, multi-discipline drafting expertise, and the ability to interpret field data, redlines, and project inputs into compliant design documentation.

• Develop, update, and maintain engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Translate engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into accurate CAD drawings.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of drafting experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines, including:
• Mechanical
• Piping
• Electrical
• Instrumentation
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience developing and updating:
• P&IDs
• Plot plans
• Facility layouts
• Equipment drawings
• Ability to interpret field redlines, site photos, and project documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote/distributed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pipeline and facility projects.
• Experience working with engineering drawing standards and systems such as LPDMS.
• Knowledge of pipeline and facility operations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, and equipment tagging conventions.
• Experience with Revit is a plus.
