Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Tampa is seeking a mid-level site/civil engineer to support a variety of civil/environmental engineering projects. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 5–15 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing engineering documents, monitoring project budgets, and being a key client contact. On a Given Day, You’ll
  • Direct and/or design/develop plans and prepare engineering documents in accordance with the latest prevailing codes.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and be responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare permit applications and submittals.
  • Participate in presentations, interviews, and project/client meetings.
  • Serve as a designated client contact.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Florida Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain registration within one year.
  • 5–15 years of progressive experience designing or coordinating civil engineering projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members in multiple offices.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and standards.
