Candidates must be admitted to the Bar and hold a first professional law degree or approved equivalent, plus specialized experience in evaluating legal documents, legal research, and policy recommendations.

Qualifications

• Active Bar admission in a State, Territory, DC, or PR.
• First professional law degree or approved alternative in lieu of law school.
• Two years of professional legal experience at the next lower grade or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the legal adequacy of case resolution documents and reports on civil rights compliance.
• Draft training materials and plan conferences.
• Develop recommendations on program management and legal policy issues.
• Conduct extensive legal research to solve complex problems.
