Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our Water Resources team. The role covers management of multiple projects in North and South Carolina, with responsibility for design, budgeting, scheduling, and client liaison.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, be a licensed P.E. in NC or SC, have 8+ years of design/construction experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program from an accredited college.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
• Eight years of progressive design and complex construction experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective supervisory and team‑leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D design software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for water resource projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and resolve project-related issues.
