Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineering Project Manager to grow our NH portfolio across offices such as Manchester, Hanover, and New London. You will oversee design, permitting, and delivery of municipal to institutional projects, coordinating teams from development through implementation.

The role emphasizes client communication, budget control, risk mitigation, and quality outcomes, with travel as needed within NH. PE license preferred and PMP beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 6–12 years of civil engineering experience; NH design/permitting preferred.
• PE license preferred; PMP or related project management certification preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and HydroCAD.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater/drainage design and water/wastewater systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil engineering design of municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Prepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects.
• Design and manage drainage, water/wastewater and roadway projects; ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop project plans and coordinate managers and technical staff through all phases.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and risks; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Lead project teams and maintain comprehensive documentation.
