Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Civil Project Manager / Estimator to join its growing heavy civil team in the United States. You will oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while preparing competitive bids for diverse heavy civil projects.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating and/or project management.
• Experience with earthwork, grading, utilities, roadway construction, or site development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
• Analyze plans, specs, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and cost projections.
• Manage projects from award through completion within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Track project costs, productivity, and financial performance.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
