A multidisciplinary engineering firm in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to design and manage water and wastewater utility projects. The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of consulting experience, and a desire for leadership. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a consulting environment.
• NC-licensed PE or ability to obtain within one year if licensed elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee water and wastewater utility projects.
• Produce Preliminary Engineering Reports and project designs.
• Prepare project manuals, construction documents, and specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering disciplines.
• Manage project advertisement, bidding, and contracting processes.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
