Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Duluth, MN is seeking a Project Engineer, PE to join our Municipal team. You will manage multiple engineering projects from design through construction, coordinate with project managers, and provide technical guidance to clients and staff.

Qualified candidates hold a PE license in Minnesota, a civil engineering degree, and 4+ years of related municipal infrastructure experience. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
• 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
• Knowledge of MnDOT requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel.
• Work closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members.
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
