Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Richmond, VA office location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
• Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.
• Understand general renewable energy nomenclature.
• Assist with the development of scope, schedule, and budgets for projects.
• Assist with project and task management.
• Support marketing and proposal development efforts.

Skills/Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• At least 2 years of structure and/or bridge design experience.
• PE License is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for plan development.
• Ability to use Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans.
