MacKay is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (PE) to lead design and delivery on residential land development in Pasco, Washington. You will guide technical design, collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to produce buildable solutions from concept to construction.

The role emphasizes mentoring, client communications, and driving project success through strong technical insight and problem-solving. Hybrid work in Pasco with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered PE in WA and/or OR.
• 5 years of experience in residential land development and/or road and utility design.
• Experience in stormwater and sanitary sewer design, grading plans, and site development in Western Washington.
• Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide design guidance, and manage technical delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Lead residential land development projects from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
• Direct and support technical staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Assist project managers with scope, budget, and schedule, and support business development.

Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.US Pay Range$105,000—$125,000 USDFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company's 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match.
