Austin Industrial is seeking a qualified Journeyman Carpenter to join our on-site team. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and construct structures using wood, plywood, and wallboard with hand and power tools.
Safety, quality, and productivity are essential as you work in industrial environments. Responsibilities include preparing project layouts, erecting forms, installing concrete reinforcing, maintaining tools and site cleanliness, and reporting progress.

Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Must know about structural design, the ability to read blueprints, and simple layouts. Must know construction trade, practices, procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Experience– 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
Certification/License– NCCER preferred (Not required) a Valid Driver's License or State ID required.

Work may be performed in industrial and construction environments with exposure to weather conditions, temperature extremes, noise, dust, fumes, moving equipment, vibration, and other site-specific hazards. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and meet all customer, site, regulatory, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements applicable to the position.
Must be able to perform all job duties while maintaining a constant commitment to safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
