Job summary

City of Lincoln/Lancaster County seeks a Paralegal to provide specialized legal support to civil attorneys. You will analyze information, draft legal documents, assist with discovery and litigation tasks, and help coordinate public records responses.

You will also assist with ADA and Title VI matters, maintain case files, and ensure compliance with court rules, ordinances, statutes, and confidentiality standards while following ethical guidelines under attorney supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in paralegal studies or related field and two years of paralegal or legal support experience in litigation.
• Experience with public records requests is a plus.
• Ability to work under the direction of licensed attorneys and maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized legal assistance to civil attorneys on a wide range of matters.
• Analyze and compile information for cases and investigations.
• Prepare drafts of legal documents and correspondence.
