Job summary

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, organizing case files and exhibits, coordinating hearings and depositions, and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal preferred.
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Extensive computer expertise (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and E-filing in state and federal court).

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, motions and discovery.
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.).
• Communicate with clients and their providers to ensure accuracy and completeness of client files .
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices.
• Schedule and calendar hearings, depositions, mediation, and conference calls .
• Order medical records and review/follow up to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare hearing, deposition, mediation and trial notebooks and exhibits.
• Some overtime may occasionally be required.
• Must possess a team-oriented mindset.
