You will support attorneys, draft documents, and coordinate hearings while maintaining precise file management and compliance with local rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in defense litigation.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams of attorneys, legal staff, court staff, clients, expert witnesses, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of general civil litigation defense.
• File legal documents with Florida Courts in accordance with local rules.
• Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery requests, medical summaries, etc.
• Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, and other meetings as assigned.
• Manage and track expenses.
• Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all records are up to date and properly stored.
• Review and summarize case documentation.
• Provide litigation support, as needed.
