Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Light Equipment Foreman in North Carolina to oversee and manage civil equipment crews on site. The role requires leadership to coordinate multiple crews, interpret IFC drawings and craft specs, and ensure safe, efficient execution of civil processes.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years as a dirt operator with 2+ years in supervision, strong planning skills, and the ability to meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a dirt operator, and 2+ years in a supervisory position.
• Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions listed below.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings and craft specs.
• Plan work for multiple crews and processes; execute with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities and materials needed.
• Identify safety risks and implement precautions to mitigate them.
• Manage multiple crews regarding scheduling, processes, sequences, time and cost; demonstrate knowledge of civil processes.
