Job summary

BL Companies is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil - Land Development) in King of Prussia, PA to lead site development efforts across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. You will manage concepts through construction documentation with a focus on detailed civil site design.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years of land development experience, and an active EIT certification with a path toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of land development or civil site design experience.
• EIT certification required; PE licensure or progress toward licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop detailed civil site designs for land development projects.
• Perform site layout and grading in compliance with local zoning and regulatory requirements.
• Design stormwater management, drainage, and erosion and sediment control systems.
• Research permit requirements and coordinate with local agencies to support project approvals.
• Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and entitlement packages.
• Perform earthwork calculations and drainage analysis.
• Support project permitting, approvals, and modifications during construction.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
