Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Orlando, FL is seeking a Civil Engineer of entry to mid-level to contribute to design, analysis and implementation within a collaborative engineering team. You will assist in technical design, project coordination and ensure compliance under a licensed PE.

You will work on land development projects, grading, drainage and utility layouts, preparing plans, reviewing design alternatives and coordinating permitting.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

• Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with overtime as needed.

Overview

This position will contribute to the successful design, analysis, and implementation of projects within an engineering team. This role includes assisting in technical design, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with project‑specific requirements under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer (P.E.).

Responsibilities
