  • Develop detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct and indirect project expenses.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for underground and civil construction scopes, including concrete foundations, equipment pads, containment structures, grounding systems, conduit, cable tray, and site preparation.
  • Prepare project schedules and workforce projections based on anticipated labor requirements, construction sequencing, and client specifications.

  • Work closely with project managers, operations personnel, and contract administration to reconcile estimates and establish project budgets following contract award.
  • Assist project management teams with the preparation, evaluation, and pricing of change order proposals throughout construction.
  • Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, potential risks, and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process.
  • Communicate estimating assumptions, exclusions, pricing details, and project requirements clearly to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate estimating documentation and support projects from initial bid review through project execution and closeout.
  • Use estimating, spreadsheet, and scheduling software to develop and maintain project cost information.
