Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician III to monitor quality, safety, and compliance in Milwaukee, WI. The role includes assisting with engineering calculations and inspections, alongside maintaining project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements.
• Assists with engineering calculations, sets up and operates equipment, inspects equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintains project documentation.
• Possesses a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• GPS and Survey equipment knowledge.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects.
• Familiarity with WisDOT Standard Specifications and material certification requirements.
• WisDOT material certifications including AGGTECH, PCCTECH, Nuclear Density, TMS.
• A motor vehicle check is preferred.

• Relocation is not available for this role.
