Job summary

The City of Clovis is recruiting for a sub-professional engineering role within the Planning and Development Services Department. The incumbent will perform routine drafting, assist in field surveys, and help compile traffic data and statistics.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible sub professional experience in engineering work.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by drafting, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sub-professional engineering field and office work.
• Take traffic counts and compile statistics.
• Serve as a member of a survey party.
• Perform technical drafting to create, update and modify drawings.
