JT Engineering, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks an accomplished Municipal Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead high-performing teams, oversee complex public infrastructure projects, and partner with local governments to deliver lasting community value.

The role offers diverse municipal project experience and collaboration with public agencies, in a culture that prioritizes people-first leadership. Positions are available in Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire, WI offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with leading projects.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience producing civil engineering plans.
• Experience with municipal project design.
• Knowledge of municipal permitting and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Budget development and management experience.
• Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work without sponsorship in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel for development and project work.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality municipal engineering projects
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets
• Manage project scope, schedules, staffing, and resources
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication
• Ensure all project-specific delivery requirements, standards, and deadlines are met
• Lead project pursuits, including securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing progress updates as requested
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to staff
• Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues and leverage internal resources to continuously enhance professional skills and project outcomes
• Adhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects
• A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred)
• Experience in producing civil engineering plans
• Experience with municipal project design
• Knowledge of municipal permitting and Federal, State, and local regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets
• Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
• To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
• To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
