Job summary

Ramboll in the United States is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site feasibility, layout, grading, and permitting for data centers and large-scale industrial projects. Qualifications

• Strong project management and technical expertise, including grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Experience working with AHJs and leading multidisciplinary teams; familiarity with Civil 3D and permitting practices in Pennsylvania, Washington, Texas, or Louisiana preferred.

Hybrid-based position in our Pennsylvania, Seattle, Texas, or Louisiana office.

We invite you to bring your civil engineering and land development experience into play as you support the planning, permitting, and design of data center and other large-scale industrial sites. This role will provide hands‑on technical leadership for site feasibility, conceptual layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, access, and civil permitting. The successful candidate will have direct experience coordinating with local AHJs and will help strengthen Ramboll's technical capabilities in one or more strategic U.S. data center markets. To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and approximately 5+ years of relevant experience.

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,515 - $101,894 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well‑being, professional development, and work‑life balance.
