Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Oklahoma City, OK office to lead project teams on land development for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

You will oversee budgeting, quality control, client relations, and mentoring junior engineers, guiding projects from concept through regulatory review, bidding, and construction to completion.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license (Professional Engineer) required.
• Experience mentoring staff and leading project teams.
• Experience reviewing Civil Engineering deliverables.
• Experience preparing proposals and managing project execution.
• Experience interfacing with clients, network, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.
• Manage projects including budgeting, quality control, and client interfacing across phases from concept to construction.
• Review design aspects such as site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, water quality best practices, and utilities.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and local officials throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Oklahoma City, OK office, you will manage project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. From an urban redevelopment site, industrial sites, to a new school project, you’ll take part in managing projects, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers. In managing junior engineers, you will review the design aspects which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you’ll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
• Experience developing and mentoring staff
• Demonstrated experience with providing a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable(s)
• Experience preparing proposals and managing project execution
