Qualifications

• ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Wyoming Licensed PE.
• Colorado Licensed PE or willing to pursue.
• Proficient using Civil 3D software for producing plans.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

We are currently seeking a Civil Project Manager who’s ready to lead, inspire, and grow with us. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to build and lead a civil engineering team in Northern Colorado, operating independently from our Loveland office while closely collaborating with our established team in Buffalo, Wyoming. In addition to expanding KL&A’s civil presence in the region, you’ll play an essential role in supporting projects throughout Southern Wyoming.

At KL&A, Project Managers are responsible for overseeing financial performance, technical execution, and quality outcomes. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external clients, resolving challenges with insight and experience while upholding our commitment to excellence. You’ll also act as a key ambassador of the KL&A brand, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Project Manager Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience of Site Development, Civil Construction, Land Surveying, Water Rights, etc.
• ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Wyoming Licensed PE
• Colorado Licensed PE or willing to pursue
• Proficient using Civil 3D software for producing plans
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. KL&A is not currently sponsoring visas or in the future.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and traverse uneven terrain at construction and job sites for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day), including in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to conduct occasional full day surveying operations including walking, setting survey stakes, and carrying up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Annual Salary

$120,000 - $130,000
