About the Role
Sawdey Solution Services seeks a highly experienced Civil Engineer to design and develop a centralized workflow and business management system using Power Platform to support key Civil Engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Civil Engineering, cybersecurity, and data management, strategic priorities, and cyber strategy.
- Provide technical development and implementation support for Civil Engineering and/or mission support processes through Power Platform workflow development, process automation, data management, application strategy, and machine learning enablement.
- Support maturing technical design approach, document functional specifications (e.g., governance, permission groups, workflows, standard coding), maintain databases, training content, and lessons learned.
- Recommend innovative process updates.
- Provide technical coding, implementation, development, training, and stakeholder enablement for modernized project prioritization efforts.
- Support sustainment and maintenance of mobile applications, dashboards, databases, process automations, APIs, automated workflows, Power Queries, and chatbots on Power Platform.
- Provide Civil Engineering and process re‑engineering expertise in development, enhancement and sustainment of Decision Lens software including integration across other business processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years Civil Engineering experience and construction management, real property and/or infrastructure management within DHS or DoD.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment.
Education Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements
- PMP certification
- Certified Professional Engineer
Other Required Skills & Abilities
- Effective communication with customers and fulfillment of contractual duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
