Job summary

Barge Design Solutions invites college students to intern in our Civil Engineering group for Summer 2027. This paid, in-person internship offers exposure to real projects and mentorship from senior engineers while you learn on the job.

Location includes Dothan, AL; Columbus, GA; and Panama City Beach, FL, with a 40-hour workweek. Your focus will be collaboration, drafting, and document preparation under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Major: Civil Engineering
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on new ideas/innovations
• Support Engineers in completing project deliverables
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation for design work
• Prepare construction documents

Education & Experience Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university

• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Details

• This is a paid internship working full-time hours (40) per week.
• This is an in-person work opportunity.
• Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
