Job summary

Olsson is seeking an intern for the Roadway team to gain hands-on experience on transportation projects, including urban and rural roadways and interchanges. You will support design through CAD drafting, research, and technical reporting, collaborating with experienced engineers on client projects.

The role offers exposure to a variety of roadway disciplines and real-world responsibilities in our Missouri offices (Springfield, Joplin, or St. Louis).

Qualifications

• You are passionate about working collaboratively with others.
• You bring to the team strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.
• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering; working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail.

Job Description

Our Roadway team works on a variety of transportation related projects, including urban and rural roadways, multimodal paths, and larger highways/interchanges.

As an intern on the Roadway team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

You'll be part of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.

You'll assist with project design through CAD drafting, performing research, and writing technical reports.

We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Springfield, MO, Joplin, MO, or St. Louis, MO office location.
