Job summary

Olsson is seeking a civil engineering student intern to join our Site Design team in Phoenix. You will assist with constructing site plans, grading, stormwater, and utility layouts in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, gaining hands-on experience on real projects for our clients.

As part of a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, you’ll perform research, write technical reports, and occasionally travel to job sites while developing professional skills under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to contribute to site design and drafting in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating construction plans for sites (layout, grading, stormwater, utilities) in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform research and write technical reports.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
