HDR, Inc. invites motivated Civil Engineering students to join as a Civil Intern/Co-Op serving New England clients.

You’ll assist with plans, drawings, and quantity estimates under experienced engineers, contributing to highway, roadway, and multi-modal design projects across CTDOT, MassDOT, NHDOT, and RIDOT. You should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; local candidates are

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Mansioni

• The Civil Intern/Co-Op will work as a member of the civil engineering design team on projects serving clients in the New England area.
• The position includes preparation of plans, detail drawings, and quantity estimation for projects of various sizes and complexity.
• The Civil Department engages in several design areas including highway & local roadway design, traffic engineering design, green infrastructure, stormwater management, drainage & grading, and multi-modal transportation designs for clients throughout New England including CTDOT, MassDOT, NHDOT, and RIDOT.
• The candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual who maintains a high level of professionalism while performing engineering assignments.
