Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students for Summer 2027 at our Orange, CA office. This non-remote internship offers exposure to civil/environmental projects and hands-on software training.

Interns will work with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS, and related tools while learning regulatory practices and Kimley-Horn’s standards. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Majors include Civil/Environmental or related engineering fields.
• Engineering Technology is acceptable for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design and analysis.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize project visions.
• Learn regulatory practices and company standards.
• Gain proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS software.
