Overview

Becker Morgan Group is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience working on diverse civil engineering projects in both the public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will be a student actively pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and eager to contribute to real-world projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to create CAD drawings and development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.


• Assist in preparing calculations, reports, and design concepts for site planning, stormwater management, roadway design, and other civil engineering tasks.


• Support field investigations, data collection, and analysis for ongoing projects.


• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.


• Ensure designs comply with company standards, local codes, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program.


• Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, including site planning, grading, and stormwater management.


• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Projects).


• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
