Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
  • PhD or DEng preferred for candidate.
  • Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
  • Teaching experience at the college level preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality instruction and career advisement to all students.
  • Maintain grades and develop course objectives, syllabi, and competencies.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction with diverse teaching methods.
  • Design assessments and provide timely feedback on student work.
  • Advise students and maintain office hours for guidance.
  • Participate in accreditation processes and maintain FERPA compliance.
  • Conduct annual research into local careers and industry trends.
