The City of Peoria, AZ is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Development and Engineering Department. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, at least four years of professional engineering experience, a PE license, and a valid Arizona driver’s license upon hire.

You will liaise with outside agencies, review plans, administer contracts, and coordinate with developers, contractors, and City leadership to develop guidelines, codes, and specifications for projects

Qualifications

• Arizona Driver’s License required upon hire.

Salary Range: Min $92,369.93 - Mid $114,537.61 - Max $136,705.28

Department: Development and Engineering

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, related field, or equivalent.


• Experience: Minimum of four years professional engineering experience or in a related field.


• Requires a working knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, specialized practices, equipment and procedures.


• Licenses and Certifications: Registered Professional Engineer License required upon hire or equivalency through state reciprocity.


• Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire.

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in a municipal or government setting.
