Kapur & Associates is seeking a Civil Engineer in Madison, WI to contribute to transportation and site design projects. You will collaborate with senior engineers, perform site visits, and prepare plans, reports, and specifications.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, use of AutoCAD/MicroStation, and teamwork in a dynamic engineering environment. A relevant degree and 1–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 1-4 years of experience with roadway or municipal design
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools
• Knowledge of WisDOT projects is a plus
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers in the planning and design of transportation or site design projects.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for project analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.
• Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation engineering
