Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Grant Analyst to join our team! In this role, you'll have the privilege of working on the premier Infrastructure project in the Country, as well as receive all of the benefits of working for Parsons! This Program is the most Urgent infrastructure program in the country - a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark NJ and NYC.

Program Background

The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country – a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark, New Jersey and New York City, the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The first phase of the Gateway Program includes the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), which includes the construction of a new two-track tunnel under the Hudson River connecting to Penn Station New York as well as the full rehabilitation of the existing 110-year-old North River Tunnel. The Gateway Development Commission (GDC), established through bi-state legislation, is responsible for the financing and development of the Hudson Tunnel Project.

As a tri-venture partner with Parsons, Arcadis, and Mace (MPA) is the Delivery Partners (DP) to provide advice, leadership, and support to GDC for the development and implementation of HTP. This is a master service with task order contracts for a 15-year contract encompassing a broad range of strategic advisory services, project management, design management, construction management, stakeholder coordination, federal compliance, operations support, office administration, and related services.

Purpose of Role

Provide high-level expertise and leadership in regards to Heavy Civil work, specifically with Tunnel, Rail, and Transit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main technical resource for civil engineering projects within the company.
  • Provide expert advice on design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Offer solutions to complex engineering problems and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in civil engineering.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 15-20+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Range:

$155,600.00 - $280,100.00
