Cherokee Federal is seeking a Research Analyst (Civil Engineer) - Mid in Charlottesville, VA to support defense analytical requirements within the Technology Transfer Analysis Team. The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship.

You will develop complex analytical approaches and integrate results across related efforts. The role emphasizes end-user assessments of export licenses, technology transfer risk analyses, and production of extensive written briefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of analysis experience in Civil/Industrial Engineering field.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply advanced intelligence concepts and tradecraft.
• Understanding of ICD 203 and DIA tradecraft guidance.
• U.S. citizenship required and able to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering or scientific analysis support for end-user assessments of U.S. export license applications.
• Provide analysis support for Risk Assessments for Technology Transfer snapshots.
• Identify and warn about emerging technologies enabling foreign military capabilities.
• Develop analytical approaches for data-incomplete problems.
• Prepare written assessments and disseminate information through reports and briefs.
• Brief and defend analytical outcomes to customers within the IC.
