Job summary

Mindrift is seeking contributors for project-based design challenges in computational engineering. You will craft Python-based problems that simulate real engineering workflows and require numerical validation to ensure correctness.

Ideal candidates have civil engineering roots, strong Python skills, and at least two years of applicable experience. This flexible, non-permanent role allows part-time participation with compensation up to $69 per hour and weekly commitments of around 10–20 hours

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Python proficiency for numerical validation; MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy or equivalents.
• 2+ years of professional, research, or teaching experience.
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
• Strong written English (C1+).

What We Look For

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields;
• Python proficiency for numerical validation. MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata or knowledge of any programming language can be equivalent;
• 2+ years of professional experience: applied, research, or teaching experience is applicable;
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
