A community development firm is looking for a Civil Engineer to design a variety of public and private development projects in New Mexico. Key responsibilities include civil engineering design for public works and private clients, preparing project submissions, and ensuring quality assurance. Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with public works projects preferred.
• Experience in grading design, roadway design, site design, sewer and water design is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design for public works and private clients.
• Prepare complete submission packages and supporting calculations.
• Check work for quality assurance and control.
• Assist in project team coordination.

Skills

Understanding of project document production of drawings

Excellent time-management skills

Ability to coordinate and collaborate with others

Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts

Strong oral and written communication skills

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience

Self-starter who can work independently

Education

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or related degree
