Job summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, managing, and overseeing infrastructure, facility, and construction projects that support mission requirements at a military installation. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities include conducting studies, preparing plans and cost estimates, managing execution, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices for facilities and infrastructure.
• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure in timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage civil projects for facilities, infrastructure, utilities, and sites.
• Prepare engineering studies, designs, plans, cost estimates, and reports.
• Serve as project manager, coordinating scope, budget, and schedule.
• Perform site assessments, inspections, and evaluations for deficiencies.
• Provide technical oversight of construction activities and safety compliance.
