Job summary

McFarland Johnson (MJ) is seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our firm for the 2026/2027 school year. This ongoing opportunity is open to students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Interns will collaborate with a dynamic team on grading and drainage design, runway or roadway pavement design, utilities, and storm water management, gaining exposure to a variety of transportation and construction projects. Some fieldwork travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dynamic team on diverse projects.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers, contributing to their expertise in a diverse array of projects. Interns will have an opportunity to assist with grading and drainage design, runway or roadway pavement design, utilities, storm water management, and gain exposure to variety of transportation and/or construction projects.

Some fieldwork travel may be required.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

Pay Range

Pay Range: $22 - $25 / hour
