Job summary

MIG, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to join its infrastructure and design services in Denver, CO or Seattle, WA. You will collaborate on civil and environmental projects, prepare plans and reports, and assist with stormwater design and cost estimates.

A bachelor’s in civil engineering and an EIT designation are preferred, with travel to project sites as needed. The role offers full‑time employment with a competitive base pay, potential bonuses, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation (NCEES)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with plans, specs, cost estimates, and technical reports is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to project sites
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, Word and Excel; MicroStation/OpenRoads a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Teammate: work with design professionals on civil and environmental projects and mobility planning.
  • Project Work: prepare plans, technical reports, construction specs, calculations, and cost estimates; support stormwater design.
  • Project Types: mobility improvements in public right‑of‑way and site development for facilities and parks.
