Sunrise Engineering in St. George, Utah is seeking a full-time Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Civil Design group.

The position supports project teams with accurate data gathering, field reconnaissance, and design tasks across grading, drainage, and utility layouts. You will collaborate with on-site staff to ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards, and you will begin building experience in Civil 3D/CAD while supporting reports and analyses for water, sewer, and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in civil engineering.
• E.I.T. certification.
• Civil 3D/CAD experience.
• Ability to gather accurate data for project plans and blueprints.
• On-site construction observations and field reconnaissance.
• Proficiency in designing grading, drainage, water/sewer layouts and road improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in grading design, drainage design, water and sewer design.
• Develop geometric site layouts and roadway improvements.
• Prepare water/sewer and drainage reports/analysis.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders to ensure project integration.
• Support on-site construction observations to ensure conformance with specs and safety.
