Stantec in Indianapolis seeks a Civil Engineer in Training to join our Community Development Group. You’ll work on land development projects, assist in design of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and construction documents under supervision.

You’ll collaborate with design teams, perform field observations, analyze civil components, and ensure compliance with codes. Qualifications include a Civil Engineering degree and EIT exam or within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 year of related professional work or Co-op/Internship experience preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training designation or ability to take the EIT exam within six months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design and technical tasks on projects under supervision.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for project coordination.
• Perform data analysis and calculations to design civil system components.
• Collect data and information to support design decisions.
• Perform field work and construction observation under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.
